6 SCHOOLS OF PHILOSOPHY.
Today, I am going to tell you about 6 schools of philosophy that are grown in India by the beginning of the Christian era.
1. SAMKHYA- Samkhya seems to be originated first of all 6 philosophy. According to this philosophy, the world owes its creation and evolution more to nature or prakriti than to God.
1. SAMKHYA- Samkhya seems to be originated first of all 6 philosophy. According to this philosophy, the world owes its creation and evolution more to nature or prakriti than to God.
But According to new view of samkhya philosophy, nature and the spiritual element together create the world. According to this a person can attend salvation through the acquisition of real knowledge and his misery can be ended forever.
2. YOGA- according to the yoga school of philosophy, a person can attend salvation through meditation and physical application practice of control over pleasure, the senses and bodily organs ,is Central to this philosophy. It is thought that through these methods, the mind gets diverted from the worldly matters and acheives concentration.
3. NYAYA- according to this school of philosophy, a person can attend salvation through the acquisition of knowledge. What is more important, the veracity of a proposition or statement can be tested through interference ,hearing and analogy
The stress laid on the use of logic influenced Indian scholars who took the systematic thinking and reasoning.
4. VAISHESHIKA- this is school of philosophy gave more importance to 5 elements- earth, water, fire air and sky. These 5 elements when combine give rise to new objects. This school of philosophy propounded the atom theory believing that all materials object are made up of atoms. Thus, it mark the beginning of physics in India, but the scientific view was diluted by leaf in God in spiritualism and this school put its faith and both heaven and salvation.
5. MIMAMSA- mimamsa literally means, the art of reasoning and interpretation. According to this, the vedas contain the eternal truth. And a person will enjoy the police of having so long as his accumulated acts of virtue last when his accumulated virtues are exhausted, he will return to earth, but if he attached salvation he will be completely free from the cycle of death and birth in the world.
Order to attend salvation, this philosophy strongly recommended the performance of Vedic sacrifices.
6. VEDANTA - Vedanta means the end of Veda. The brahmsutra of Badarayana compiled in the second century BC formed its basic text. Later, 2 famous commentaries were written on it, -
a. By SHANKARACHARYA - IN THE 9TH CENTURY.
Shankara considered BRAHMA to be without any attributes. He consider knowledge or Gyan to be the chief means of salvation.
b. By RAMANUJA- 12TH CENTURY. Ramanuja's BRAHMA had attributes. Is route to salvation lay in practicing devotion / loving faith.
According to this philosophy, if a person acquires the knowledge of self (ATMA)he acquires the knowledge of Brahma and does attains salvation. Both Brahma and atma are eternal and indestructable. Such a view promote the idea of stability and unchengeability.
MY VIEWS- we should not agree what are spiritual master or spiritual books say about God. We should question ourselves and begin to find the answers. Because in my views code is nowhere outside in the galaxy or anywhere else. First of all god is not a noun it is or it should be a adjective/quality like love. (so friends I am not telling you to follow my way of philosophy, what this is my way of philosophy).
